AU is an open, unmoderated, inclusive list for anyone in, near or moving to Alabama with an interest in homeschooling with unschooling leanings. Since unschooling encompasses everything in your life *nothing* is considered off-topic. Our only rule is respect - you can disagree with anyone, including the list-owner, without fear of any reprisals as long as you attack the idea, *not* the person.

SHE-BA : Secular Homeschooling Encouragement-Birmingham Alabama

This group invites all secular homeschoolers, not only in the Birmingham Alabama area, but anywhere, to come together for support, encouragement and socialization. All homeschoolers are welcome regardless of the ages of your children. We are located in Birmingham, so most of our activities will take place in Birmingham, but if you are currently homeschooling, or are thinking about it and need to find connections, please join.
