Advocates for Home Education in Massachusetts
AHEM is working to foster a population of informed and active Massachusetts homeschoolers empowered to be their own best advocates.
Eagles Wings Co-op (*)
We are a co-operative of Christian homeschool families, in South Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island creating academic and enrichment classes for our own children by pooling our teaching strengths and abilities. As an extension of our families homeschools, we help one another meet our educational goals in a wholesome environment that fosters godly character and encourages both children and parents to excellence.
Growing Without Schooling
We offer private consultations for individual homeschoolers and homeschooling families, mostly by telephone but occasionally in person when possible. As always, Susannah and Pat can speak from the John Holt/Growing Without Schooling perspective and address most if not all of your homeschooling questions, whether you are in the early stages of considering whether to homeschool or have been homeschooling for years.
IN HARMONY Homeschool Network
A network for homeschoolers in MA who are inspired by nature and who want to strive to live in Harmony...with each other and with the Earth.
Massachusetts Home Learning Association
The Massachusetts Home Learning Association is an advocacy and education organization, which endorses home learning as an alternative to public or private schooling. MHLA informs and educates families, school officials, the media, elected officers, policymakers and other constituencies about the benefits, societal impacts and unique educational methods of homeschoolers.
Massachusetts Homeschool Organization of Parent Educators (*)
Metrowest Homeschoolers
This is an inclusive group for homeschoolers throughout the Metrowest area of Boston to share ideas, classes and information.
New England Buddhist Homeschoolers
We are such a minority -- us Buddhist Homeschool Families. Perhaps through this forum we can share our experiences in trying to incorporate Buddhism into our lives and homeschooling endeavors. This is a support group for Buddhist homeschoolers in the New England region -- Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont. Here we can talk about how we home-school with Buddhist ethics in mind. How do we live the 4 Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path in our culture?
New England Unschooling Yahoo Group
Discussion and support group for unschoolers in Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
The Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center was established in 1994. The FRC is a unique organization based in Massachusetts, servicing New England homeschooling families by identifying and accessing creative and challenging educational resources that enrich children's lives and support their educational interests. We are not a support group.
